Spectra Specialities was established in 1995 at Pune by Dr. N.S. Dabke, an ex-scientist from the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), the premier chemical research institute in India and Mrs. A.N. Dabke, a commerce and law expert.
Our first foray into the Chemical Industry was to manufacture additives for Pharma Industry. After over 20 years, we have expanded our scope of products and now cater to a wide variety of end customers including textile processors, emulsion polymerization, paints & coatings, pigments, paper processing and biotech industries.
The diversification of the product range to fit such a wide gamut of industries can be attributed to our excellent R&D team which is well equipped with advanced labs and pilot plants.
Our strength lies in developing tailor-made products for applications in the aforementioned industries. We pride ourselves on our problem-solving skills and being able to develop commercially viable solutions. The process involves multiple steps – from the inception of the idea to experimentation in the lab, application testing followed by trials at pilot plant scale and eventually commercially manufacturing these products and offering them at competitive prices. The vast technical know-how accumulated after years of efforts by the technical team go a long way in aiding us to understand the end applications of these specific products and provide accurate solutions to our customers.
